Description frame No. 1This is a beautiful authentic old antique wooden picture/photo frame. The specific hand carved ornaments show it is from the Balkans made in 19C. It is in relatively good condition for its age. There are some missing/broken pieces and a small crack (please review the photos), but other than this it is solid piece, with only 5-6 wormholes all together). Very rare and valuable antique. Dimensions of the whole frame are 28 cm (11 inches) x 24.5 cm (9.6 inches). Dimensions for the picture/photo inside are as follows: left - 13.9 cm (5.5 inches) x 9.3 cm (3.7 inches) and right - 13.9 cm (5.5 inches) x 10.5 cm (4.1 inches). Thanks for looking. Although there is the year 1914 carved in the wood, I believe it is made during 19C. and the year was added later on. It is in relatively good condition for its age. There are some missing/broken pieces and a crack (please review the photos). There are no signs of wormholes, which is rare to see in a frame of that age. Very rare and valuable antique. Dimensions of the whole frame are 50 cm (19.7 inches) x 42.8 cm (16.9 inches). Dimensions for the picture/photo inside are as follows: top left - 14.4 cm (5.4 inches)
