Up for Auction...Four Arita Tartan Plaid Dinner PlatesMeasuring 10-5/8" in diameter each, these dinner plates are Arita's Tartan dinnerware pattern, which was made from only 1986 to 1990. The pattern features a classic red and green tartan plaid, which is great for holiday entertaining. All four plates are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. They look as if if they have been used very little, if at all, over the years because the top surfaces do not show utensil scratches from previous use. One plate does have an 1/8" factory glaze skip in the black line at the outer rim edge as shown in the detail photo, but these four are about as fresh and clean as one can find for this older, discontinued pattern! The pieces in this lot will be double-boxed as a group for safer shipping. The heavier weight (just over 6 pounds before packing and boxes) and size of the outer box (14" x 14" x 10") account for the higher shipping cost. Please see my other auctions for more quality ceramics and various fine, vintage items. I am happy to ship multiple lots together for savings on the shipping and insurance costs.I accept Paypal only. The shipping cost includes insurance with tracking and $1.00 to cover the cost of bubble-wrap and other appropriate packing materials. Payment should be received within seven days of end of auction.
