DESCRIPTION: The SET consists of a 104" x 72" linen damask TABLECLOTH with a flowery scroll pattern, plus 9 NAPKINS 20 3/4" x 21 1/4") in the same damask pattern and embroidered monogram P, plus 2 of those NAPKINS with damage, FREE. When it comes to the tablecloth, the flowery scroll pattern creates a border near the outer edges and then a frame in the center of the linen. Hems: The long edges are selvage. The short are machine sewn. Napkins repeat the scroll pattern, but reduced. Their top and bottom edges are selvage, and sides hand rolled. CONDITION: close too EXCELLENT, with some very minor flaws. The tablecloth contains two very light gray smudges near one of the short edges, see picture with two paint brushes. These, very possibly, appeared when I brushed the linen against the door frame as I was bringing it in from line-drying outside. Had I known they were t, I would have tackled them, but I discovered them as I was finishing the ironing and couldn't face the idea of doing it all over again... Napkins have three visible blemishes, all three photographed. One a shows a bit of yellow near the letter P, photo with one paint brush.
