DISNEY CRUISE LINE DISNEY WONDER 1999 CHRISTENING SET OF 2 CHAMPAGNE FLUTES You are bidd ing on a set of two brand new (unused) champagne glasses celebrating the christening of DCL's second ship, the Disney Wonder. The cruise line that added a little magic and wonder to the ocean, christened its second ship, the Disney Wonder, during a rare nighttime celebration. Disney's private terminal in Port Canaveral, Florida hosted an estimated 2,500 guests for the milestone occasion. Celebrities Peabo Bryson (recorded pop song from ``Aladdin''), Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel in ``The Little Mermaid'') and Paige O'Hara (voice of Belle in ``Beauty and the Beast'') joined Disney executives to present a surprise godmother of the Disney Wonder. In true Disney fashion, the christener was unlike any other: Tinkerbell. The ceremonial breaking of the bottle was followed by pure Disney pageantry, including a grand fireworks finale. Champagne flutes like these were handed out, with either cider or champagne, to celebrate. The specific glasses up for auction come from a previously unopened case (opened to sell). The flutes are clear with the DCL logo and text etched on outside the glass. Text on the front reads: "Disney Wonder Christening October 1, 1999." Features a black braided stem. All glass. Measures 8.5" tall x 2.75" wide (flute is 4.5" tall
