SET EIGHT 19TH CENTURY PRIMITIVE WOOD SPICE BOXES

Set of eight 19th century spice boxes. They are made from thinly cut birch formed into cylinders and reinforced with tin banding and all have original tops. The largest container is embossed on the bottom Patent Package Co. Newark, New Jersey, Patd. Aug. 31 1858. The seven smaller containers measure 2 5/8" diam. x 3" tall; the largest is 3 ¼ diam. x 2 ¾" tall. Each is marked as to its contents i.e., Pepper, Mace, Cinnamon,Nutmeg, Ginger, Allspice, Cloves and Mustard. They are all in excellent condition and each has remnants of what they held with their wonderful fragrances.
Payment will be your choice of Paypal, personal check or money order. Shipping waits for checks to clear (5-7 days), or will ship same day money order arrives. Buyers pay actual shipping charges.
