Set ofFour Victorian Solid Silver Salts & Onslow Pattern Spoons. This beautiful boxed set really does look as though it has hardly ever been used. The skilfully embossed salts have a crimped edging and gilded interiors. The four Onslow pattern salt spoons also have gilded bowls. They come in their original Leather box with imperial purple velvet and satin lining with retailers gilded stamp below a crown. J.H Weeks Late R Beck 18 Dudley St Bradford. Apart from the 'almost as new' condition, what impresses me is that the salts are a nice large size. Each piece bears the hallmarks for London 1893 and makers initials GMJ George Maudsley Jackson. In a way it is rather sad that this lovely set has spent most of 119 years tucked away. So please will someone buy it, use it and most of all enjoy it. Weight: 165g. Salts: 5.75cm Dia. 3.75cm high. Spoons: 7cm long.
