SET OF 5 FRANKLIN HALF DOLLARS ALL FROM THE DENVER MINT 1958 - 1961 - 1962 - 1963 - 1963 CIRCULATED IN VERY GOOD CONDITION 90% SILVER This set is part of my father's collection and it has been in a lockbox for last 40 years in a cloth bag. He has no desire to continue to keep his collection due to his age and health. He also believes a lockbox is no where to leave these coins for any additional time and would rather have someone enjoy them. This is a very nice set. The 1961 is clearly the worst of the set with the black markings on both sides. I have to acknowledge that this coin is only in good condition, however it does not take away from the condition of the others. The remaining four coins are worn, but in very good shape. They have looks of cloudiness and/or blackening around the edges of the markings, however said markings remain distinct. There are also spots that look dirty. Please refer to the pictures to confirm my descriptions. I am not a professional and prefer that you look at the coins and make your own judgment. In my research, I found that the Franklin Half Dollar replaced the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1948 and continued to be minted until 1963.
