This set of 6 vintage Knoll arm chairs are in an unbelievable cool high tech 1970's era fabric. The chairs were designed by Saarinen in the 1950’s. The base color of the fabric is blue with beige diamonds and black stripes. These chairs would go with any high end interior fashion. They are in very good vintage condition with no holes, stains or tears in the fabric. One of the chairs the top of the arms the foam is slightly compress, it looks like something was resting on top of the arms (see photo). Another chair the very top of the back the foam is becoming slightly stiff maybe one inch from the top down and hardly worth mentioning. The other four chairs the foam is in excellent condition. The legs are a bright chrome finish with no rust or pitting and have the original nylon foot glides. One of the chairs has the original Knoll tag. The chairs are approximately 25 inches from floor to the top of the arm and 18 inches from floor to seat. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a set of matching vintage Knoll chairs in this condition. Knoll Saarinen chairs have been showcased in Interior Decorator magazines, movies and on television. These chairs would look great around a dining table or to decorate your living space. Chairs of this quality and condition are hard to find and these chairs have been in storage for over 20 years and this is the first time that they are being offered since they were purchased from Knoll. Eero Saarinen transformed executive seating into a fluid and sculptural form. A comfortable chair is a necessity and the Executive Chair is that and more. The approximate weight of each box is 60 pounds and the size of the box is 26x26x26 and the zip code being shipped from is 06776 or a local delivery can be arranged. Please note that eBay calculates shipping cost incorrectly for one box you must calculate for three boxes from your zip code There is also $10.00 fee per box for packing material in addition to the shipping cost.
