Set 3 A A Milne POOH BOOKS Winnie the Pooh House at Pooh Six all 1st EDITION DW Description We have for Sale a very scarce set of 3 WINNIE THE POOH TITLES BY A A MILNE to offer for sale this Christmas ALL 3 ARE FIRST PRINTINGS FIRST EDITIONS, ALL 3 ARE HOUSED IN BEAUTIFUL DUSTWRAPPERS. These books would make the most treasured gift for a loved one this Christmas. It is unusual to have the 3 Volumes especially in such good condition. A rare opportunity to aquire all 3 in one place!!! 1) Winnie the Pooh by A A Milne. With decorations by E H Shepard. Book Condition: Hardcover. Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. First edition, First printing published in 1926 by Methuen and Co. Original green cloth with gilt stamped designs and borders, gilt titles to spine. Light rubbing to corners and to head and tail of the spine. Boards are clean and deep in colour. There is a very subtle darkening to the spine and the titles are lightly faded. Original mapped endpapers are present and lightly browned. The pages have some thumbing marks and the odd grubby spot but o the whole are clean and complete. Beautifully illustrated throughout by the inimitable Ernest H Shepard. The book is housed in a beautiful first printing facsimile wrapper.
