You are bidding on a set of 10 admission tickets from the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, called the Columbian Exposition. In addition t is an envelope and businesscard from noted Chicago coin dealer Theo. E. Leon, General Manager of Chicago Coin Company. Note the telephone number has only 3 digits.

All of the tickets are in excellent unissued condition with sharp crisp corners. The stubs are still attached on the 2 stubbed tickets. Only 1 perforation is broken, the top one on the Manhattan Day ticket. Please check out the Supersized photos or ask for more details on condition. The Handel and Franklin tickets are quite hard to find and normally sell for over $100 each by themselves.

After the Fair was over, all unused, unissued tickets were purchased by the Caxton Company and sold in sets to collectors. Although not in the original Caxton Envelope, I believe this is one of those sets, that was purchased and re-sold by the coin dealer whose envelope and card is included.
