This gorgeous set of 10 glasses by Glastonbury Lotus boasts a very unusual art deco style shape. They have a beautiful etching of a fine leaf stem and clover/shamrock around the bowl of the glass. Thanks to an eBay'er who alerted me to look at Glastonbury Lotus glass, I found out that this pattern is called Marty. Each glass stands 7-3/8 inches tall by 3.5 inches across at rim of glass and holds 6 ounces. I cannot yet give the exact age of this glass pattern but I have found similarly shaped glass designs circa 1930-1940 by Cambridge, Heisey and Tiffin. They are part of the high-end glassware made during the Depression and sold in jewelry stores and big department stores of that era. For example, a similar design is Minuet by A.H. Heisey & Co and those glasses were valued at $25-35/stem in the 2005 book "Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era, Eleventh Edition" by Gene and Cathy Florence book that I own. They would be lovely as an anniversary or wedding gift or use them to grace your own table. This stemware is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or rim dings.
