Stunning Top Quality Antique Holloware - Old FB Rogers Silver - Traditional pattern - complete set of 12 matching glasses! No monograms or personal inscriptions. This is a great set - Silver Lord Saybrook style Wine Glasses / Water Goblets. These have the feel of sterling, but not marked that we see, hence we list as silverplate - old quality - each goblet is a bit over 6" tall. Complete set was purchased at one time post WWII by my grandparents. The set is in a classical pattern that blends with much flatware and many china patterns. My grandparents, then my parents collected much quality silver items as they were serious about entertaining in a way we are not. My family invested in quality items for gracious living. CONDITION: VERY GOOD/FINE. Minimal typical use scratch/marks better than very good/used considering the suspected age! A set to a dd to your collection of entertaining equipment. Starting at very reasonable price. Quality like this is not found today. Review picture(s) for condition etc. Not new, but Used Good Estate Condition with expected use on treasured old items. Some hand polishing needed! Vintage heirloom quality heavy plated items, an outstanding, truly versatile, group/set of good weight/heft, elegant pattern. Bid based on info above, but know these were from a very good collection of very fine household goods that were well taken care of. No major flaws or damages not mentioned, expect general marks, spots, scratches, wear and patina commensurate with age and use of treasured serverware/flatware used for special meals/holidays; these were cared for / hand washed/cream wet polished. All t his has been stored away in the box for many years and a simple cleaning/polishing will make it look even more elegant on your table. Most or all hosts would feel quite comfortable using this when entertaining the most special guests in your home. Not dipped in any harsh silver polish bath only hand polishing for years!
