This auction is for a complete set of 12 Stering Silver Apostle Spoons. They are in their original boxes and do not appear to have been ever used. Each box contains six spoons. The spoons date from 1938 and are Birmingham Silver . They are made by AJ Bailey. The spoons are safe in their deep blue velet and white satin lined boxes. The outside of the boxes which I believe to be black leather shows its age. It is peeling and places, mostly towards the edges. The boxes are structually sound and are functional. One of the clasps on the box works while the other does not. Please see the pictures for detailed shots of the marks and of the Apostle. The spoons are all the same Apostle. Sorry, no returns. Shipping in the US will be $7.00 for Priority Mail plus insurance. Due to the valuable nature of this item I require insurance. I always combine shipping on multiple purchases to save bidder's money.
