Outstanding set of 3 pure white porcelain birds from Bavaria, Germany. All three birds are resting on a gold 1 3/4" diameter ball which is balanced on a white 1 3/4" square that is trimmed in gold. Each birds eyes, beak and legs are gold gilt. I am not sure what type of bird each is other than each is stunning in their simplicity.

The tallest bird is 6" tall to the top of his tail and 1 3/4" wide and has the number 4939 incised on the underside of the base. The next tallest bird is 4 3/8" tall and 1 1/4" wide with no numbers. The smallest of the birds is 4 1/4" tall and1 3/4" wide with the number 4879 incised. Each bird has the dark blue hallmark for GEROLD PORZELLAN, Bavaria, Germany on the bottom. T is no damage. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. These are MUST HAVE for the bird collector or fine porcelain collector. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding. HAPPY SHOPPING!
