On my recent trip to the island, I finally aquired my long awaited collection of Easter Island statues. What I have to offer you at this time are "copies" of these statues. The set of 3 that you see pictured is what you will recieve (statues A, B, and C). The original statues were hand carved by the Easter Island natives. I've made molds of the originals, and I am able to offer you reproductions of the statues that I've brought back from the island. I found it very difficult traveling by airline, and passing through "Customs" when trying to bring anything home safely in one piece. The originals are very fragile, but the copies that I am selling are very durable. I'm casting them out of a "High Strength" concrete. As you see in the pictures, the statues have "cap stones", originally, all Easter Island Moai that were erected on a ceremonial platform was given a headdress. I have also made the capstones a separate piece, for your convenience. I guarantee you will enjoy these statues indoors or out. My long awaited trip to the island was truly a magical adventure, and I can't wait to go back. I would love to share a set of these statues with all of you.
