SET OF FOUR LATE 18 TH CENTURY CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY WINDSOR CHAIRS SIGNED âeoeR. This listing is for our second grouping of exciting early American furniture. These are a set of four late 18 th Century Connecticut River Valley Windsor chairs signed âeoeR. Dickelâe. This furniture maker is a new name to us but these chairs have every characteristic of an upper Ct. River Valley piece probably emanating from South Hadley , Massachusetts . Each has plank shaved seat is made of yellow pine. The back rail, stretchers and legs are made of maple with extremely desirable wear. The back spindles are all made of oak. Every piece of wood on these chairs is original and remnants of the original grain paint are still present. Each chair has a 15âe X 14 1⁄2âe seat and stand 33âe tall at their back rails. We got a good buy on these chairs and we are offering them based on that fact alone setting aside their true value.
