The winner of this auction will receive a set of 4 dinner plates in the Blue Mesa pattern by Dansk. These plates are used but are not chipped or cracked. One plate has a blemish in the glazing. You can see it in the picture. They are made in Japan. Buyer to pay $12 shipping. I will be unable to combine shipping as I will be sending this item in a priority mail flat rate box. I was winning bidder on some Blue Mesa dinner plates a few weeks ago but when they arrived they were obviously seconds with glaze flaws and blue that didn't match - both labeled Japan. Yikes!! I've kept them and will donate but trying to add my our place settings. I'm looking for Blue Mesa (not Sky Blue Mesa which is brighter). Thanks for any info you can give me!!!! Pam Jul-13-07 A: I'm not sure how to answer this. I have gotten two questions regarding this issue. The last one asked me if t were black specks on the plates. (Not that I could see.) What I can say is that I bought these dishes years ago at the local Dansk outlet store. The ones from Portugal were picked up randomly at thrift stores and are different than the Japan made dishes.
