Beautiful AJKA Cased Crystal Wine Goblets made in Hungary in six beautiful jewel colors: Amethyst Purple , Ruby Red , Cobalt Blue , Gold Amber Yellow , Azzurro Light Blue and Emerald Green . Each glass is 8" high and 2 3/4" across the mouth. This genuine cased, mouth-blown, hand-cut, 24% lead crystal is in mint condition. They have never been used.

Hand-Cut, Cased Crystal is one of the MOST Dramatic methods of adding color to a piece of fine crystal. In this ancient technique, one or more layers of colored glass are "fused" to a piece of clear crystal. An EXPERT Crystal Cutter then cuts through the "casings" so that the underlying clear glass is revealed through the top layer of color & incorporated into the design due to the intricately detailed workmanship required in casing & cutting each piece.

After additional research on the set of glassware - it was discovered that the etched pattern is not by AJKA but another manufacturer. The set is Bohemian Crystal from the Czech Republic and is hand crafted 24% lead crystal . I apologize for any confusion.
