Antique TIFFANY & Co. Sterling Silver Matched set of 6 Fruit Knives,Saratoga Pattern Pat.1870, ( a.k.a. 'Cook' or 'Kings'). "Originally named 'King's', the Saratoga pattern by Tiffany is a beautiful interpretation of French-style King's patterns that feature classical elements on the front and back of the handles. This is a rare and early example of flatware by Tiffany & Co. who first started producing their own flatware in 1869." Each knife measures 7 1/4 inches long, and weighs 43.9 grams. They have Gilted blades. The blade is marked TIFFANY & Co. STERLING Pat. m. Date mark m is believed to be from 1907-1938. The back is engraved with an old English R . They have been in the family since the early 1950s. Good Condition.
