set of 6 dining chairs with needlepoint seats in very good condition. i believe them to be mahogany and to date to the early 1800's. the backs and splats are carved, and the saber legs flare away from the chairs. the finish is nice and mellow and probably original. as you can see, the seats are removable. all the chairs are in very good stiff condition. needlepoint seats are also in very good condition with no rips, repairs or burn marks. each seat is the same color background although the flowers are of a variation. i could not see any evidence of repairs. the chairs have different roman numerals carved or burned into the chair at the base of the seat. these probably came from an original set of 12. winning bidder must pick up or arrange for your own shipping. please feel free to email with questions as i know some info on antique furniture but i am in no way an expert. thanks for the interest. paypal, money orders and personal checks accepted. checks require 5 working days to clear.
t is a small slice in a piece of the carving on the back splat of one of the chairs. sorry for initially missing that.
