Offered is this set of 6 Gustav Stickley Dining Room Chairs, which includes 1 arm chair and 5 side chairs. The arm chair is No. 306 and the side chairs are No. 306 1/2. Please email me for many more pictures of these chairs. What gorgeous chairs - they have the wonderful, solid construction Gustav Stickley is famous for, thru-tenons on the arms of the arm chair and pegged leather seats. These signed chairs have been properly refinished in a period appropriate manner; the seats may not have been done, as the bottom coverings are of a period fabric. They are a warm, mellow medium brown with the quartersawn oak outstanding!! The arm chair is branded Stickley with the joiner's compass as are 4 of the 5 side chairs. It looks as if the signature on the 5th side chair got lost during the refinishing process but it is a definite part of the set. This set is guaranteed authentic and as described. The condition is excellent. There are a few minor marks, as befits chairs that are almost 100 years old, and one arm chair has a horizontal line running through one of the slats. (pictured, not noticeable) The material on the bottom is slightly loose on some of the side chairs. I am also offering a signed Gustav Stickley Pedestal Dining Room table with four leaves; the table is original finish and is slightly lighter than the chairs.
