SET OF 6 OAK CARVED CHAIRS We are pleased to be offering today this much better than average set of six solid oak French Louis XV style dining chairs that date from the 1940s. Do not get these confused with some of the cheaper imitations that are on E-bay right now. This is a gorgeous set of six solid oak carved chairs with solid oak carved triple hoop backs. They have a one piece back leg, a beautiful carved cabriole leg in the front with gorgeous carving across the skirt, and a unique attraction is that is has carvings on the side skirts and multi-turn tapered spindles are used for cross stretchers. This is a much better than average set. The seats are done in a beautiful antique mauve fabric that is outstanding being all padded and cushioned. The fabric blends beautifully with the dark oak stain finish of the chairs. I can not stress enough how nice these chairs are. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 39 inches to the top of the chair back, and 19 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking set of six.
