Set of 6 Gingerbread Valentine Bowl Fillers or Ornies
You are bidding on 1 set of 6 ornies: 3 gingerbread men and 3 hearts Boy did I work hard on these guys! Each gingerbread man measures 4" x 4". I blanket-stitched them together in pairs, stuffed them, put scarves and buttons (sewn on NOT GLUED) on. They were adorable even then, but I decided to give them a Valentine to hold. Each of the little hearts they carry is blanket stitched, slightly stuffed and sport a sewn on greeting ("XOXO", "I Love U", and "Be Mine"). Finally I trimmed each heart with white pearls (again, sewn in) and then sewed them to the gingerbread men. I took NO shortcuts making these! Everything is very secure and will last for years and years! I then grunged them up a bit and sprinkled them with cinnamon. Into the oven they went for a final baking and VOILA! The hearts measure 3" x 5" and are blanket-stitched, stuffed, grunged, baked and sprinkled too! Note: The hearts in the picture are plaid but they vary as I have several sets made up. I have plaid ones, quilted-look ones, but all are equally beautiful and primitive. Winning bidder can choose the three hearts they would like prior to shipment via e-mail pictures.
