St Louis Crystal Water Goblets Pattern: Thistle Description: Gold Encrusted. Notched/Multisided Stem This auction is for six exquisite St Louis Crystal Water Goblets in the Thistle Pattern. These are encrusted with gold, both around the rim and also the base of the goblet. They stand 7 3/8" high and are 3 7/8" wide at the top. The glass and stem are notched and multi sided. They make a wonderful rich presentation and are beautiful to look at. The glasses are in wonderful condition, but close examination reveals some minor gold flaking around the top rim of several glasses. These can be easily repaired, if desired. We have taken this into consideration in the pricing of this special pattern from St Louis. These glasses were purchased new at Nordstom in New York for $400.00 a piece ($2,400. for the set). We are offering them at a starting bid of $125.00 per glass ($750.00 for the set of six). If you already own this glass and are now seeking to extend your settings, you already know the value of this auction.
