This auction is for a set of 6 Vernon Kilns Collector Plates of famous Overtures Operas, and Operettas. Each plate depicts a scene from the story, and the sheet music. Each has Vernon Kilns and French Reproduction on the back. They are in excellent condition with no chips, scuffs, or cracks. They are 8 ½" across. Thanks for looking, good luck bidding. I have been selling antiques for more than 25 years; however, I do not claim to be an expert on all of the items I sell. I know more about some antiques and collectibles than I do about others. I ask questions and research items as much as I possibly can. On many items I only claim to know enough to write up a simple description. I am a pretty good photographer, and I always try to get a good shot of specific and overall condition and of the signatures et cetera, so take a good look at all the photographs, after all, isn't a picture worth a thousand words? In most cases, I would bet that you are more of an expert on the kinds of things you collect than I am, so please ask all questions you may have PRIOR to bidding in case t are any important details I may of overlooked. If I have misstated anything it is due to ignorance and not intent. Most all of my items are vintage items. As such most have lived very long an eventful lives and as such will not look brand new. Unless I state items are "NEW or MINT" t is bound to be some amount of wear and aging. I do my best to describe items accurately and honestly. I send out invoices within 12 hours of the end of the auction. Please wait for shipping quote on International Shipping. I send out invoices after I have calculated the shipping costs, and insurance costs. If you are the winner please let me know what your payment method will be. I send out payment reminders after five days. Please email me with your questions before you bid. I am confident you will be satisfied with the purchase. If not, in most cases, I will refund the purchase price. A refund of the bid price will be given if upon receipt the buyer emails me that item is being returned with a detailed description of why the item is being returned, and why my description was incorrect. Buyer ships item back within the following three business days in condition sent. Of course, if the description has a substantial error or blatant omission of a condition issue, refund will include fees, and return shipping fees I ship via USPS Priority Mail or Airmail Parcel Post (International) to ensure prompt delivery. If the item qualifies, I will only charge shipping for AIRMAIL LETTER POST and not Parcel Post. The calculator just won't allow me to enter that option. I will gladly combined items for winners of multiple auctions, tby reducing shipping costs. Insurance is available, but the buyer must notify me before payment is made. Shipping loss or damage is covered only if you choose the optional USPS insurance $1.30 covers the first $50 of value. Higher value coverage will be extra. I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods once they are shipped. Priority Mail does not come with insurance, it must be purchase separately. For those of you who live outside the United States; I will not declare this item as a "gift" on the customs form, I declare the final sales value. You also need to know that to some countries it can take more than several days, and sometimes even weeks to get a package from the United States.
