I'm back with more thimbles and sewing items from the collection of Martha Arrufat, a long time member of the Bay Area Thimble Society (BATS). Due to her illness I've been asked by the family to sell her large collection. Martha has been collecting for many years and is a very diverse collector. I'm sure you'll find things to add to your collection no matter what type of sewing items you enjoy. This is the set that started the collection of many thimble collectors. These 8 AVON thimbles represent the different styles of women's dress throughout the decades. Each thimble is dressed differently and the set includes the original thimble rack for the set. All of the thimbles are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks but could use a good cleaning. The holder is also in excellent condition and is made of a beautiful dark colored wood. I accept PayPal, Money Orders and Personal Checks (item will be held until check clears). An invoice will be sent at the end of the auction and payment is required within 7 days of auction end. Once you've received the invoice, please email me to let me know your method of payment and mailing address within 2 days.
