We are offering for this auction a beautiful set of five 6 1/2 inch Rose Canton/Chinese Export Porcelain saucers. These saucers are in mint condition and have the single word "China" stamped on the back. This marking dates the plates to the late 1800's to 1910 when 'Made In' was required. The hand painted pattern is so spectacular it is hard to describe in writing. I hope my pictures can adequately show you the overall beauty of these small plates. As is true with all Rose Medallion or Rose Canton the predominant colors are green and pink. This pattern has a myriad number of butterflies around an assortment of blossoms and greenery. If you look carefully you will see assorted small birds mingled in the pattern. We find no chips or dings in any of the small 6 1/2 inch diameter plates. We are starting bidding on these at only $9.00 per plate. They would easily sell in shops for over three times that. Buyer will pay $7.00 shipping to any U.S. State. Sorry, we do not ship overseas.
