This auction presents a set of late 18th or early 19th Century French country armed chairs. The principle wood appears to be similiar to pine. T is residue of paint and we highly suspect they were original painted. Obviously the caning is not original and t is evidence they have had some reworking with blocks and wood screws. Other then the modern adaptations, they are pined or pegged. The measurements are floor to seat 16", width 23" and total heighth is 38". The condition is good, but do need retightening. The leather cushions are all in good shape and were probably added about 1950. THESE CHAIRS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.
