Set of Gucci Christmas Mugs in Case
This is a great set of porcelain mugs by Gucci. T is a Christmas scene on one side and the other is a beautiful Holiday flower design. The case is green leather or leattte with brass fittings. The inside of the case is a deep green velvet and off white silk type fabric. I did read that this design was done by Gucci for Princess Grace of Monaco. I have not been able to confirm or disprove that. T are 5 mint mugs with no sign of use. The sixth mug has a bad crack which goes almost the full length of the inside of the cup and half way down the outside. As it is on the handle side it is only noticeable at the top. I have taken a picture of this crack. This is the hostess mug. Over the years I have always found that "Mom" gets any damaged piece of porcelain at her setting. Identifying Marks on this piece read: The measurements of this piece are: The Mugs condition is described above in detail The case is in Very good condition. The brass shows the patina of age. The silk and velvet are spotless. I bought this set at an estate sale several years ago. The case is not cut or damaged. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
