WOW! Hello, up for auction today is a RARE SET OF SIX BLUE FOSTORIA NAVARRE 13 OZ ICED TEA GOBLETS! These were purchased this morning at a local estate auction, of a wealty women who collected antiques for many, many years. I believe these glasses date back from the late 1970's-1982, as that is the year Fostoria closed it doors, as all 6 are etched on the bottom " Fostoria". They have a beautiful etched design on the outside of the goblets. They measure 5 7/8 inches tall, and hold aprox. 13 oz. These are in great shape with no chips or cracks of any kind! Some of the rims on the goblets have small specks missing, due to when they were grinding they rims to make them smooth, which is common in glassware of this quality. I have talked to a few people about these, and have found out that they are quite hard to find, ESPECIALLY IN A SET OF 6!!! These would look great in any china hutch. Christmas is coming soon, so this would be a great gift for anyone who needs these pieces, or likes the pattern, but doesn't collect it. I also have a Clear Fostoria Navarre Square Handled Nappy/Bowl up for auction, I got it at the same estate sale today. Thanks for looking. I have added a better picture of the design on the goblet! In the listing, it says, "...some of the rims on the goblets have small specks missing...."
