Set of three John Connell acrylic on paper paintings titled `Triptych.` The triptych contains three seperate paintings in matching frames. John Connell was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1940. He attended Brown University as well as New York University. There have been numerous exhibitions of his work in galleries and museums all around the United States. A selected list of art museums that hold his work in permanent collections include Metropolitian Museum of Art, Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
