This auction is for 3 'the real deal' antique skull illusion postcards! So, so rare to find these days and it is a reluctant sale . You just don't see them! I need to raise some money and things like this must go. They are incredible pieces of art, of course they show some age and wear but I love old cards like this. The first is the popular 'all is vanity' skull image, of a woman at a dressing table. The second is two children and a dog making up the skull image. How twisted is that? This one has been postally used. It has what I believe to be French written on it. The last one is made up of two children sledging! It has the word 'toboganning' in the corner. Please study the pictures - the second picture shows the backs of the cards, do note the age marks/spots etc that I mentioned and the slight fading of the second card. Overall they have survived a very long time intact and for that they need protecting and perhaps framing where they can be admired. I paid a Lot to get these cards, so I feel my starting price is fair. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind keeping them. Please check my other auctions, I am selling other cabinet cards, and Victorian books/Victorian death books! I will combine postage when I can Postage and packing charges is inclusive of the packing materials needed to protect items in transit. I like to read more
