1" Toolmaker's Clamps Industrial Quality Up for bid is a set of four one inch toolmaker's clamps. These are quality items, made in the USA, and weigh about 8.2 ounces each. They will secure a part that is up to 1" high, and the finger reaches up to 1" from its mounting post. Each clamp consists of the following parts: - An aluminum base of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum 3/8" thick, measuring 4-1/4" X 1-1/2" - A beaverboard workpad 1/8" thick, measuring 2" X 1-1/2" - A steel finger 3" long, 1/2" X 1/2" square - Necessary screws and nuts ready to assemble. These handy clamps can be used for various modelmaking tasks, including the following: - Holding thin sheets of brass or aluminum for drilling on a small drill press - Holding sheets of brass for soldering - Clamping sheets of plastic for gluing - Repairing brass imported models - Many other uses! These toolmaker's clamps are "new old stock" made by a company (Precision Manufacturing Co. of San Antonio, Texas) that manufactured aircraft parts for the government.
