This is a charming set of 5 vintage towels from the 1950's.They are embroidered with women going about her daily chores, you know, all the things us ladies do day to day for our home and families!These ladies are both blonde and brunette and are all wearing aprons over a red checkered, flowing skirt skirt.You get one of each of the following with this auction: ~ A lady cooking~ A lady drying the dishes~ A lady serving a hot meal to her two hungry and adorable children~ A lady mopping the floor~ A lady taking a snooze in her wing back chair with a basket of knitting at her feetEach towel measures 30 inches long X 17.5 inches wide and is made of a cotton/linen blend.There are wonderful vertical and horizontal Blue stripes at the outside edges that are accented with a thin Red stripe in the middle and black outlines on the boldest Blue stripes.Condition: These are in excellent vintage condition with no loose embroidery. One of the towels has a large but very light stain on the opposite side of the embroidery. (see last pic) Otherwise, these are in great vintage condition for their age and would be a wonderful addition to any kitchen.These have been washed and ironed and are ready to use straight from the package.Towels will ship for 5.50 via USPS Priority mail.
