SET Vintage Relief Carved Asian Oriental Nesting Tables FOUR Individual Tables, each with different carving! Direct from Europe, this listing is for another outstanding set of FOUR nesting tables; I see these sets at the many European container sales I attend each month, but they are usually in poor condition and I rarely purchase them; however, these fabulous tables are quite the exception, with distinct different carvings on each table top, and complimentary carving around the entire apron of each table!! The tables have a beautiful golden finish with a bit of a âeoeglossâe finish that is true to their style. The wood is possibly camphor, although I am not positive as I deal more in oak, walnut, mahogany, etc. For those not familiar with âeoenestingâe tables, the three smaller tables fit underneath the large table, and when needed, they easily just pull out, to be used as a total of FOUR independent tables. PERFECT for entertaining and always an excellent fit for apartments and condos w space is a premium, but also versatile as separate end tablesâe¦âe¦âe¦.four for the price of one!! MEASUREMENTS : The largest table measures 25âeH x 19 ½âe x 13 ¼âe; The next largest size table measures 21âeH x 16âe x 12âe; The third largest table measures 17âeH x 12 ½âe x 10 ½âe; The smallest table measures 13âeH x 9âe x 9âe. All four tables have glass tops to protect the deeply carved panels and, of course, provide a flat surface for table use!! CONDITION : The tables are structurally sound, in good condition for their age, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections; all have good glass tops. Nesting tables typically have âeoebusyâe lives and donâe(tm)t survive the ages very well, but these are much better than most and certainly something I would be pleased to use in my own home. The largest table has a wood separation in the carved panel, as commonly found in older pieces, and not a significant flawâe¦.just a sign of age that adds to the charm and patina.
