Great set of four (4) Classic Wade Irish Porcelain Stoneware 6 oz. Child's or Espresso Mugs marked with the circa 1953 Cloverleaf "Wade Irish Porcelain - Made in Ireland" logo backstamps impressed into their underside bases and in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, crazing, repairs or any other damage or defects. Each stands approximately 3" tall with 2 11/16" rim diameters, 2 5/8" base diameters and measure about 3 3/4" from the handle to the opposite rim. They are beautifully made solid Mugs with 3/16" rim diameters and weigh about 9 oz. each. This is the same company that made the Apollo Space Shuttle heat sensors and they have certainly withstood the test of time! The glaze colors are fantastic with a blue, green and brown speckled swirl found only in Irish Wade pottery. All have Irish themes and depict: 1) Leprechaun with mushrooms with the letter A inside the clover logo, 2) Colleen in front of Cottage (letter J inside the clover logo), 3) Duck in flight (letter E in clover logo) and 4) an Irish Jaunting Car with the letter A inside the clover logo.
