Hello, this awsum,museum condition Setchell Carlson AM radio Dor-A-Fone may be a once in a life time item for you radio collectors out t to own as i have never even seen one ever ! This radio plays and looks like the day it was new.The bakelite tube radio is the Setchell Carlson model 458R, S/N is 1129 and the set is AC/DC.Only rich,lavish type homes ever had this door radio/intercom set up for quests.The base unit has four push buttons on the top of the case,Off,Master,Remote and talk. I am sure t is some one out t that has the matching remote switch - speaker that was mounted next to an outside entry door.This mint looking radio is a must have for you collectors and again sounds,plays and looks new !
