A particularly fine circa late 1800’s to early 1900’s antique Seth Thomas adamantine mantel clock with six yellow gold columns across the front and the brass lions with mouth rings on either end of the case. Most everything is original, including the key and pendulum. The clock movement (#89C) is very clean and oiled and keeps excellent time. The coiled cathedral gong and hammer toll the hour and half hour counts in beautiful bell voice. All snaps and clasps work fine and smoothly. The flat dial crystal (probably not original ) is clear with a very small scratch (less than ¼�) at the 3 o’clock position, has original paper dial is in overall good shape , showing it’s age with small rip below the 12 (please refer to pictures) The clock measures 18” long by 11.25” high and 7.5” deep.
