Seth Thomas ----- 1870's Clock with Arch Top & Club Foot Introduction You are bidding on a early era clock made by Seth Thomas. Description This is one of the rarest and finest clock made about 1870 by Seth Thomas Plymouth, Conn. The clock has fantastic design clock case. This is wooden case in Burl Walnut veneers and moldings. The clock is well known as a Seth Thomas ARCH TOP clock. In some description known as a CLUB FOOT clock. The clock has Seth Thomas 8 day time and strike brass movement. The clock chimes on the coil gong. It has metal dial ( the dial is original, the paint was repaired in some spots). Condition The clock looks beautiful and runs very well. The movement is clean, it comes with pendulum and winding key, the same key open and close front door. The wooden case looks good but some areas has missing original veneer, mostly on the sides on legs, see supersize pictures for more details. T is also sign of repair the veneer on the side of top. The movement runs and strikes well. The dial is original but the paint was lost on some spots and someone repair it. The original label is still present. See my other items. New items every week.
