Made by Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston Connecticut, Rare United States Navy Mark I Boat Clock. Manufacturing date of 1941. Serial number on the dial is 4987. Seth Thomas 8 day high grade time only brass mechanical movement. Eleven jewel lever escapement platform with adjustable micrometer type regulator. This fully serviced clock has been mounted in a swing open bakelite case with the backplate and the mounting plate. This clock has a 4 inch 12 hour black finish brass dial, brass dial backplate and brass spade hands. Small orbiting seconds hand. Runs for 8 days on a single / full winding. This clock is keeping accurate time and running strong. Ready to be a faithful timekeeper of the sea. A proper size #5 Chelsea mainspring winding key will be included. Please view all of our clocks.
