I have for your approval a Seth Thomas Clock Co. City Series clock called the, " Omaha ", ca 1886. I have fully restored this clock and it is ready for your home and collection. The movement has been cleaned and oiled and will be good for a number of years. I have restored the case with out making it look new. I sometimes see clocks striped and made new and correcting with every little defect of the past gone. That is not what has been done I have retained the 130 year old character and given it a fresh clean look. You know it is old but the dirt and grim are gone. This is one of my favorite clocks in this series that always turns my head when I see it. Seth certainly knew how to make nice parlor clocks. Omaha ", C. 1886. Sought by collectors because of the simple yet dignified style, which includes the balcony around the top, gold striping on the case front and the nice sounding Cathedral gong that Seth Thomas was noted for. From everything I can tell, it is all original in this 19 inch walnut case which is an 8 day time and strike. Unusual, but even the dial is old and not repainted. One of 5 or 6 special pendulums Seth made for this group of clocks, this one is nickel with the initials "ST" . T is nothing more to do that to bid and to win. This can be in your come this month. This is a No Reserve Auction, as are most of my offering, read more
