SETH THOMAS WALL GALLERY CLOCK 16" This is the real deal NOT a reproduction. Antique Seth Thomas Gallery key wind 8 day time only clock. I'm not sure of it's exact age but it's 100 years give or take a few years. The clock measure 16" across x 5" thick. The brass bezel is 13" across and the glass appears to be original. Notice the lead joints that hold in the glass. they are untouched. the dial has a 10 3/4" minute track. t is some flacking of the original painted metal dial. Normal for it's age. I cleaned and oiled the movement.I also recut the escape teeth. I'm a 3rd generation clockmaker and have been cutting teeth for 50 years, so don't worry. The movement is now in perfect running condition. Nice large heavy plate movement with a new mainspring. I've done to much, so my loss is your gain. Clock should now run 25 years before anything needs to be done to it. The winding stop works gear is missing, if I hadn't said anything no one but an expert would know what I'm talking about. Has the 4:30 winging position. Nice old original label no one will ever see unless you remove the dial and then the movement as it is UNDER the movement. Should be a great clock in the resale market or for the collector. They were in every comercial building in America. Sadly those times are gone and everything is plastic. Don't pass this clock up.
