Have you always wanted to be able to purchase an antique clock via the internet, but were concerned with the uncertainties of purchasing an old clock of unknown condition. No need to have those concerns any longer. I am a clock smith of over 35 years experience and the clock listed has been completely restored by me. If the clock is not as I have described it or it does not run correctly I accept returns. I have seen this model dated anyw from 1863 to 1875 depending on which authority claimed to have the knowledge, but to be sure it came from about that date.The case is rosewood veneer and is in good condition with no pieces of veneer missing. The finish is original and in good condition, see pictures. The face is original and shows signs of its age. I am not certain whether the pendulum bob is original or not, I think that it may be, but it looks as if someone has added some additional lead to the back. The clock runs good non the less once one has properly balanced it. The clock retains the original "S" and "T" hands. A key is provided with the clock.The clock also has its original label inside the lower back case although it is now darken from all the years of age, but is still quite readable. T is a mirror in the lower door as is typical of this model. I cannot tell if it is the original, but it looks old. The case stands 16 read more
