This auction is for a Vintage Seth Thomas Helmsman Ships Bells Clock & Barometer in Chrome . Model E537-007. Condition seems pretty good. Clock runs. Bells sound at the right times. No dents or bumps. Chrome is pretty clean. Face has a few minor scratches around w you wind it. (see pictures) Clock face measures 4" in diameter. Clock has two levers, one will shut off the bells and the other is a speed adjustment. Barometer seems to work but I can't be sure. Wooden base measures 19" wide, 3 1/2" high and 1 1/2" deep. I believe its mahogany. Also has what looks like an aluminum base plate at the bottom. Paper label on the bottom. Label is missing from the back of the clock and the label on the barometer is unreadable. Clock says "German Movt." and barometer was made by Taylor Inst. Co. I don't have the original key but I have one that works and I'll include it if you need it. Its been sitting for a long time and will need cleaning and adjustment. Great addition to your collection. Shipping weight will be just over 10 pounds. Please look at pictures and ask questions before bidding. No reserve so bid with confidence. Shipped boxed for your protection.
