This is a Seth Thomas mantle clock recently found in a house in central Michigan. It is being sold as found. It comes with its original pendulum and key but it will not stay running more than a few minutes. I am not a clock person but I have tried to advance the minute hand to get it to strike and while I can hear a click in the strike position it doesn't strike as it should. The case is 100% complete and the original label is intact. It stands 23" long and appears to be slightly bigger than the kitchen clocks that are commomly sold. It is a beautiful clock in better than average condition. We have tried to both picture and accurately describe it's condition and we will gladly answer any questions. Lucky buyer to pay flat pack/ship/ins. fee of $17.50. It will be double boxed to ensure it's safe arrival. Only paypal, money orders and cashiers checks will be accepted as payment and payment must be recived within 7 days of end of sale. If you cannot meet this requirement please refrain from bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck!
I just received additional information about the clock from a fellow Ebayer. The clock is a "New York" Model Seth Thomas and the base of the clock has been replaced. Sorry for the oversight! Clock condition update: I played around with the clock tonight and it has ran for about 15 minutes nonstop. I also got it to strike and I got the alarm to ring by advancing the hands. Number of strikes was not coordinated with the time. Thanks for looking.
