A not-too-challenging project clock that will yield impressive and valuable results. This is a Seth Thomas Parlor Calendar number 5 that has seen better days. It is basically complete except for the lower calendar mechanism, and the cam and lever for the upper movment. The upper movement has the cam arbor sticking through the bacl of the plate, but someone removed the cam. If you remind me, I can send a pattern for the cam so you can make one. The case is walnut, and in pretty good condition. It looks complete to me. T is one place on one side w the veneer is lifting, but easily glued down. The movement is the correct and original one for the clock, but dirty. It looks like it will run with a cleaning, and I guarantee it to be sound. It has an alarm mechanism, that I have never encountered before in this model. The dials are the original zinc dials. the top dial has had a replacement paper dial glued on. the bottom dial is the original paint. No reserve. Since I have removed the movement, etc for the pics, I believe it will ship best if I leave everything out of the case and pack separately.
