This auction is for a SETH THOMAS WESTMINSTER CHIME MANTLE CLOCK with KEY . On the inside of the door in back it says : Directions for Medbury - 6w, 8 day Keywound clock with Westminster strike & chime movement. It has a 5 bar chime with 3 wind up posts. The clock can be wound up and runs. The other 2 posts seem to be wound tight (it was that way when I got it) they don't chime. On the directions in the back it tells how to free the bells and hammers so they can be switched on or off and for shipping. When you move the hammers the chimes sound deep & rich. On the clock work in back it says: Made in Germany for Seth Thomas Division General Time Corp., Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A., A402-005, two (2) jewels, 7606. On the wood in back it says: Germany . Under the 6 on the face it says Germany. The wood is in excellent condition. The clock measures: 20" long, 9 1/4" high and 5" deep. The face of the clock measures 7" in diam.
