I am a professional clock repairer (member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) who obtained a number of clocks at an Estate Sale. These clocks vary in make and condition and are individually described with supporting details. Since I have a backlog of repair work I have decided to sell each clock on an individual basis in "as-is" condition. Please keep watching as I list other clocks on eBay. Thank You. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Seth Thomas Westminster Chime Model "Medbury 5W" Mantel Clock OVERALL: This is a nice looking clock that is in running order that appears to have original movement, hands, dial, pendulum bob, and key. I believe this is a pre-1930 model but am not certain. Note that the operating instruction sheet is in great condition and it is on the inside of the rear door. DIMENSIONS: Length: 19 7/8" X Width: 6" X Height: 9 1/4". CASE: Good condition - one of the better ones I have seen - the only defect I can see is a dent on the top of the case. DIAL: 6 1/4" diameter to edge of minute ring - dial is metal - marked "Seth Thomas" on lower center - dial probably needs cleaned as it has spots on it - see photo. BEZEL: Convex glass - bezel appears to be brass / brass plated. HANDS: Both minute and hour hands appear to be original. MOVEMENT: Seth Thomas key-wound type - "124 series chime movement with back chime control" - stamped "No 124 - Made in USA" on lower right corner of rear plate. CHIME RODS: 5 total - appear original - good sound. PENDULUM BOB: Included - appears original. KEY: Included - two sided type - one to wind, other to adjust fast/slow - appears original. WEIGHT: Estimated total ship weight in a UPS 28"X15"X11" box is 11 pounds - will be wrapped in plastic and placed in bed of Styrofoam peanuts for safety.
