Hello MTH and Lionel 3-rail, O-scale operators in need of traffic control on your hi-rail pike . . . For your consideration - this lot of 4 O-scale Operating Traffic Lights w/controllers …a prototypical-looking traffic signal for your "O" or O-27 layout …from MTH RailKing # 30-1089-1 …assembled as shown, fully tested, and ready-to-run on your O-gauge pike. Here's a great deal on 4 traffic lights …actually 2 complete 30-1089-1 sets. You really need 2 full sets to control the typical 4-way intersection. A sequencing controller comes with each set, but you only want one controller to automatically sequence all 4 lights, just the way they would prototypically operate. Here's what happens with all lights hooked up to a single controller… east-west traffic has a red signal, while north-south has green. After 18 seconds, the north-south lights go to yellow. 4 seconds later, north-south goes to red, and east-west goes green. This goes on for as long as you supply accessory voltage to the controller. All lights and controllers are fully tested A-OK. Photocopied hook-up instructions will be included (…please see photo provided below).
