Two sets of three Victorian balloon back dining chairs with upholstered seats. The two sets are quite different in their backs; one being more oval shaped and the other set being more kidney shaped. But, though mis-matched, they work well if the two kinds are interspersed around an oval or circular dining table as the colour of the wood is similar and they are upholstered alike. Last upholstered in 1987 in a beige jacquard which is quite dirty as they have been in storage for a decade and suffered a fair few spills when they were in use. The wood is either mahogany or walnut (cannot recall which). Good patina and colour which just needs polishing. They were re-stuffed back in 1987 but, if re-upholstering, they would benefit from some attention to their joints. Two chairs have lost some trim.
